What is the purpose of our Association?
“When organizations succeed it is because its people know what they do and why they do it. We say such an organization has “purpose.” *(see below)
Purpose gets us moving!
Purpose gets us moving toward our goals!
Purpose is the organization’s reason for being in business.
Do you know what the purpose of the Repatterning Practitioners Association is? Our purpose is to promote and certify practitioners of Resonance Repatterning®. This has been our mandate since we became an Association in 2005.
This is our reason for being in business.
What a great time of year to re-evaluate our purpose and make sure the members know what we do and why we do it! Do you as a member know what we do and why we do it? And if so, do you feel that we do what we say we do?
Here are some thoughts for 2012 that we hope to implement for the members:
- Meet new students who have just taken classes via the Resonance Repatterning Institute by sending them a letter to welcome them and to provide information about the Association and the certification process .
- Share Board Briefs in the Journal or Blog for members to hear Board decisions.
- Educate members with technology and education for promoting and supporting their businesses.
These are just a few ideas that we will be working on this year. Any services and programs we offer are all done with volunteer hours. It goes without saying, to continue to meet the needs of this organization and fulfill our purpose we need volunteer support. We have committees such as the Certification, Continuing Education, Membership, Annual Conference, and the Repatterning Journal.
The RPA Executive Board plans to grow and expand Resonance Repatterning this year through increased membership, increased volunteering, and increased awareness to those around the globe who may never have heard of us.
Help us in our purpose! Join and volunteer now!
Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we can discuss how you might be the perfect fit for any one of our committees. We look forward to hearing from you and supporting your Association!
